Setting the ISA Connector Type:

Switch 9 (ED) specifies the type of system connector used

with the adapter: the double

connector (16-bit ISA connector) or the single connector (

Setting the Base I/O Address:

Switches 5 through 8 (C1, C2, C4, and C8) select the base I/O

address.

 

If you install more than one IBM ARTIC adapter in ISA slots, set each adapter to a address to prevent resource conflicts.

Note: Adapters installed in PCI slots are configured automatically and do not affect the adapters installed in ISA slots.
