software
is

the

distribution,
and
should
have
been
installed
along
with
the
operating
system.
Verify
the
initial
software
installation
by
using
the
following
procedures:

The

Adapter
requires
Version
1.0.3
(or
later)
of
the
ipr
device
driver
for
2.4
based
kernels
and
version
2.0.9
(or
later)
for
2.6
based
kernels.
To
verify
the
version
number
of
ipr,
do
the
following:
For
2.6
Linux
kernels:
1.
If
necessary,
log
in
as
root
user.
2.
Type:
modinfo
ipr
|
grep
version
Press
Enter.
The
following
is

level

are
