3.5 Telephone function

With the headset provided, Ingenico 8550 can be used as a hands free mobile phone. The 2.5mm headset jack is compatible with most available hands-free kits and comes with an integrated switch, volume control and microphone.

0As with all mobile phones, the i8550 is subject to interference which can affect performance.

3.6Scanner function (optional)

The Ingenico 8550 features a scanner that allows you to collect data and read and print bar codes.
