Joystick

ThejoystickDhasproportionaldrivecontrol,meaningthatfurther
thejoystickispushedfromtheupright(neutral)position,thefaster
thepersonaltransportermoves.Yourtopspeed,however,islimited
bytheprogrammedsettings.
Toslowthepersonaltransportertoastop,simplyreleasethe
joystick.Thepersonaltransporterhasautomaticspeedanddirection
compensationtominimizecorrections.

Charger/ProgrammingInput

Thecharger/programminginputEislocatedatthefrontof
thejoystickhousing.Thisprovideseasyaccessforchargingthe
personaltransporterbatteries.ThisportalsoservesastheRemote
ProgrammerCommunicationconnection.Drivingispreventedwhile
thesystemischarging.

2.Truestate-of-battery-charge,includingnotificationofwhenthe
batteryrequirescharging:
a.GreenLEDsarelit,indicatingwellchargedbatteries.
b.AmberLEDsarelit,indicatingbatteriesaremoderately
charged.Rechargebatteriesbeforetakingalongtrip.
c.RedLEDsarelit,indicatingbatteriesarerunningoutof
charge.Rechargebatteriesassoonaspossible.
TheInformationGaugedisplayalsoservesasasystem
diagnosticdevicewhenafaultisdetectedbythecontrol

Thejoystickislocatedonthejoystickhousingandprovidessmooth
controlofspeedanddirection.Itisequippedwith360degrees
ofmobilityforeaseofoperation.Thejoystickisspring-loaded,
andautomaticallyreturnstotheupright(neutral)positionwhen
released.Pushingthejoystickinagivendirectioncausesthe
