This Procedure Includes the Following:
Removing or Replacing Armrests
Replacing Armrest Pad/ Clothing Guards
WA R N I N G
After making adjustments, always make sure that parts are properly tight- ened BEFORE using the wheelchair.
REMOVING OR REPLACING ARMRESTS (FIGURE 1)
Removing Armrests
1.Unlock the arm assembly by rotating the armrest re- lease levers located on the armrest to the unlocked position.
2.Remove armrest from the wheelchair.

Replacing Armrests
NOTE: Armrest release levers MUST be in the unlocked position when placing armrests into the arm sockets.
1.Install the armrest into the arm sockets on the wheel- chair frame.
2.Lock the armrest by rotating the armrest release le- vers into locked position.

SWING-BACK ARMS (FIGURE 2)
WARNING
Make sure the locking mechanism is se- cured before using the wheelchair.
1.Unlock the
REPLACING ARMREST PAD/ CLOTHING GUARDS (FIGURE 3)
Armrest Pad
1.Remove the phillips screws that secure the arm- rest pad to the armrest assembly.
2.Replace armrest pad and securely tighten with the existing phillips screws.
Clothing Guards
1.Remove the four (4) screws that secure the ex- isting clothing guard to the armrest assembly.
2.Replace the existing clothing guard with the new clothing guard and securely tighten with the ex- isting hardware.
3.Repeat STEPS
