Changing the Filter

SECTION 3—MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING

Changing the Filter

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 3.1 on page 25.

Clean the filter every 5 months or whenever it is dirty.

1.Remove the two screws securing the filter cover to the back of the control unit.

2.Remove the filter.

3.Wash the filter with water and a mild detergent.

4.Dry the filter completely.

5.Install the filter into the back of the control unit.

6.Secure the filter cover to the back of the control unit using the two screws.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM	CAUSE	SOLUTION

Mattress not inflating	Mattress hose disconnected	Connect hose connectors and lock
Not alternating properly		them in place

	Air hose kinked or split	Unkink hose or replace split hose

	Major leak in the air cushions or	Replace leaking air cushions or
	overlay pad	overlay pad

	Kinked or split manifold	Unkink manifold or replace split
		manifold

	Has power and fuse is good, control	Send unit back for repair
	unit does not come on

	Not alternating, solenoid or valve	Send control unit back to factory for
	malfunction	repair

	No air, pump or blower malfunction.	Send unit for repair
