Regularmaintenanceofliftsandaccessoriesisnecessarytoassureproperoperation.
Afterthefirstyearofuse,theattachmentpointsandthemountingbracketoftheliftarm
shouldbeinspectedeverythreemonthstodeterminetheextentofwear.Iftheseparts
becomeworn,replacementmustbemade.
DONOTovertightenmountinghardware.Thiswilldamagemountingbrackets.
Castersandaxleboltsrequireinspectionseverysixmonthstocheckfortightness,wear,
debris(suchashairanddirt)andthattheyrollfree.
Afterthefirsttwelvemonthsofoperation,inspectallpivotpointsandfastenersforwear.
Ifthemetalisworn,thepartsMUSTbereplaced.Makethisinspectioneverysixmonths
thereafter.
Topboltmustbecheckedatleasteverysixmonthsinconjunctionwithperiodic
maintenance.
Theelectricmotorissealedatthefactoryandifserviceisrequired,themotorunitMUST
bereturnedtothefactoryforrepair.DONOTattempttoopenthemotororobtainlocal
serviceasthiswillVOIDthewarrantyandmayresultindamageandacostlyrepair.

Electrical - Grounding InstructionsDONOT,underanycircumstances,cutorremovetheroundgroundingprongfromany
plug.Somedevicesareequippedwiththree‐prong(grounding)plugsforprotection
againstpossibleshockhazards.Whereatwo‐prongwallreceptacleisencountered,itis
thepersonalresponsibilityandobligationofthecustomertocontactaqualified
electricianandhavethetwo‐prongreceptaclereplacedwithaproperlygroundedthree‐
prongwallreceptacleinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode.Ifyoumustusean
extensioncord,useonlyathree‐wireextensioncordhavingthesameorhigherelectrical
ratingasthedevicebeingconnected.Inaddition,InvacarehasplacedRED/ORANGE
WARN ING TAGSonsomeequipment.DONOTremovethesetags.Carefullyread
battery/batterychargerinformationpriortoinstalling,servicingoroperatingyourlift.
