When the system is in Local Mode, the Remote unit’s selection switch is inactive. Pressing it has no effect – the Remote operator cannot take over control. The Remote selection switch only becomes active after the Local selection switch is pressed to return the system to Auto Mode.

Picture Compensation

The quality of the video display can deteriorate with distance. The Picture Compensation switches adjust the picture quality of the remote console.

If it becomes necessary to adjust the video signal, press the plus button (+) to increase the video signal gain; press the minus button (-) to decrease the video signal gain. The Picture Compensation LED blinks until compensation has completed, at which time it remains illuminated.
