A VPN Client, version 4.0.1, can't initialize the virtual adapter while attempting an IPSEC connection after “undocking” from a docking station. When attempting a connection the following message appears in the VPN Client logs:
Sev=Warning/2IKE/0xE3000099
Failed to active IPSec SA: Unable to enable Virtual Adapter (NavigatorQM:938)
In summary:
Docked- successful connect
Undocked- failure to enable adapter
Redocked- failure to enable adapter
The only way to recover is to reboot the system.
