Permanent settings in programming mode
Restore factory settings	In the program item ‘Machine settings (/)’ / ‘Factory setting’ you
	can reset various settings to their factory settings:
	U	‘Machine’
		U All user settings (apart from the ‘filter’ and ‘water hardness’)
	U	are reset to factory settings. Your IMPRESSA then switches off.
		‘Product’
		U The settings (amount of water, coffee strength, temperature
		etc.) for any product can be reset individually to the factory
		settings. The corresponding double product is also reset to
	U	the factory settings at the same time.
		‘All products’
		U The settings (amount of water, coffee strength, temperature
	U	etc.) for all products are reset to the factory settings.
		‘Display settings’
		U All display settings are reset to the factory settings.

Example: Proceed as follows to reset the values for ‘Espresso’ to the factory settings.

Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.

OT Press the P button.

‘Maintenance status (/)’

gT Turn the Rotary Switch until the program item ‘Machine set-

tings (/)’ is displayed.

T Press the ‘Factory setting’ button. ‘Factory setting’

T Press the ‘Product’ button. ‘Product’

T Press the ‘Espresso’ button.

‘Espresso’ / ‘Reset this product to the factory setting?’ T Press the ‘Yes’ button.

‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display. ‘Machine’

OT Press the P button to exit programming mode. ‘Please select product:’
