• The PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC function
does not work properly except for Dolby
Surround encoded programmes.
• You can turn the PRO LOGIC 3D-
PHONIC function on or off by pressing
the 3D button.
Change the setting of the PRO LOGIC
3D-PHONIC function
1 Choose PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC.
Then press the 3 button
The sub-menu of the PRO LOGIC 3D-
PHONIC function appears.
2 Press the 6 butto ns to choose an
item. Then press the 5 buttons
to change the setting
MODE:
The PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC function
has three modes; NORMAL, CINEMA/
SPORT, and MUSIC. You can choose
and set a mode as you like.
LEVEL:
You can control the effect level of the
PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC function as
you like.
TV SPEAKER:
For details, see “Additional Sound
settings” on page 36.
LEFT/CENTRE/RIGHT:
You can adjust the sound level of each
speaker separately. LEFT/RIGHT means
left and right of the front speakers and
CENTRE means the centre speaker.
3 Press the a button to complete
the setting
• To change the TV speaker setting, you
should connect an audio system to the
TV. For details, see “Connecting
speakers or an amplifier” on page 40.
• When an audio system is not
connected to your TV, please be sure
to leave the TV SPEAKER setting to
L/C/R. If you don’t, a normal sound
will not come from the TV speakers. If
the TV SPEAKER is not set to L/C/R,
press the 6 buttons to choose TV
SPEAKER and press the 5 buttons
to choose L/C/R again.
DOLBY PRO LOGIC
You can enjoy Dolby* Surround Pro Logic
sound if you add surround speakers.
Before using the DOLBY PRO LOGIC
function, first connect the surround speakers
to the TV, then set the items in the DOLBY
PRO LOGIC function properly. For details,
see “Connecting speakers or an amplifier” on
page 40.
Choose DOLBY PRO LOGIC. Then
press a button
To cancel the DOLBY PRO LOGIC
function:
Press the 6 buttons to choose
SURROUND OFF.
• The DOLBY PRO LOGIC function
will not work correctly unless you
connect extra surround speakers.
• The DOLBY PRO LOGIC function is
only available for Dolby Surround
encoded programmes.
• Even if you do not have surround
speakers, the PRO LOGIC 3D-
PHONIC function lets you enjoy the
atmosphere of Dolby Surround Pro
Logic sound. For details, see “PRO
LOGIC 3D-PHONIC (Dolby Pro
Logic 3D-PHONIC)” on page 22.
