Using the TV speakers as the centre speakers for the PRO LOGIC
When the PRO LOGIC
Preparation:
•If you have had headphones connected to your TV set, disconnect them.
1Press the abutton to display the
MENU (main menu)
2Press the 6 buttons to choose
DIGITAL SURROUND. Then press the abutton to display the
DIGITAL SURROUND menu
3Press the 6 buttons to choose
PRO LOGIC
4Press the 6 buttons to choose TV SPEAKER. Then press the 5 buttons to choose CENTRE
L/C/R:
L/C/R is used to make all the sound come from the TV speakers.
OFF:
OFF is used to cut sound from the TV speakers.
When the sound quality of the audio system is better than the TV’s speakers, you can set the TV SPEAKER to OFF to cut the sound of the TV speakers.
5Press the abutton to complete the settings
The menu disappears.
•Use the amplifier volume to control and set the volume of the front speakers to fit in with the TV speakers.
Setting the DOLBY PRO LOGIC function
Set the items in the
Preparation:
•If you have had the headphones connected to your TV set, disconnect them.
•Increase the volume of the TV speakers to a level at which you ordinarily listen. If you do not do this before starting the operation, it is impossible to control the volume from within the function.
When you are using an audio system, however, set the amplifier volume to zero to cut the front speakers. Then

DIGITAL SURROUND menu
3Press the 6 buttons to choose
DOLBY PRO LOGIC. Then press the 3 button to display the sub- menu of the DOLBY PRO LOGIC function
