Listening to radio broadcasts

CAUTION
Slide the remote control mode
selector to [AUDIO].
AM stations are spaced 9 kHz apart in some coun-
tries and 10 kHz in other countries.
When the main unit is turned off
To select 9 kHz spacing, while holding down
[VOLUME –] on the main unit, press F on the
main unit to turn on the power. “AM 9 kHz STEP”
appears in the display window.
To select 10 kHz spacing, while holding down
[VOLUME +] on the main unit, press F on the
main unit to turn on the power. “AM 10 kHz STEP”
appears in the display window.
NOTE
When the spacing is switched, the preset radio
station memory is erased.
1Press [FM/AM] to select “FM” or
“AM” in the display window.
• Each time you press [FM/AM], the band tog-
gles between “FM” and “AM”.
• Repeatedly pressing [SOURCE] on the
main unit can also select a radio broadcast
as the source.
