14 EN	Necessary Settings before Use
Be sure to configure the following three settings		3 Charge the battery pack by
before use.		connecting to the AC adapter.
Power Related Preparations		Open the cover.

1 Set the power switch to OFF.

Slide while pressing down the lock button.

2 Attach the battery pack.

Slide the battery pack down until it locks in place.

Bottom of the Camera	* If the provided AC adapter is AP-V14A or
	AP-V14E, connect the power cord to the AC
BATT.	adapter, and plug the power cord into an AC
	outlet.
	● The power/charge lamp blinks to indicate
	charging has started.
	● When the lamp goes out, charging is
	finished. Unplug the AC adapter (or the
	power cord) from the AC outlet and
	disconnect the AC adapter from the camera.
