You can operate JVC’s TV

Buttons (TV/VCR, TV PR+/–, POWER1, ^, TV %+/–) with a small dot on the left side of the name can also be used to operate a JVC’s TV while holding down TV on the Remote.

This Remote transmits A code signals only; it is not applicable to B code signals.

On-screen display

If you press OK on the Remote when “SUPERIMPOSE” is set to “ON”, you can see the current VCR status on the TV screen. After about 5 seconds, indications other than the time counter disappear. To clear the time counter, press OK again.

The indications are not recorded even if the VCR is in the recording mode.
