Timer recording allows you to program the VCR to automati- cally record a program which will be broadcast at some future time. The timer record function can be programmed using VCR Plus + or On-Screen Timer Programming (☞ pg. 40).

1	LOAD A CASSETTE
	Make sure the record safety tab is present.
	● The VCR’s power comes on automatically.
2	ACCESS VCR PLUS+ SCREEN
	Press MENU on the remote		VCR PLUS+
	control.
	● The clock must be set in
	order to access the VCR
	Plus+ screen. If you	PRESS (DIGIT)
	haven’t set the clock, the
	Main Menu screen	THEN PRESS (SELECT)
		PRESS (MENU) TO MAIN MENU
	appears when you press
	MENU. Refer to page 8 for the Advanced Auto Clock
	Set procedure or page 9 for the clock setting
	procedure.
	ENTER PLUSCODE NUMBER
	Press the appropriate DIGIT keys to enter the PlusCode
	number printed in the TV listings for the TV program
3 you wish to record.
	● To make corrections, press CANCEL and input the
	correct PlusCode number.
	● If the PlusCode number you input is incorrect,
	"ERROR" may appear on the screen to advise you of
	the error. This happens when the PlusCode number is
	for a program which has already passed. "ERROR" is
	displayed for about 4 seconds and the VCR Plus+
	screen reappears (step 2).

DAILY (DIGIT “8”) or WEEKLY (DIGIT “9”). “DAILY”

or “WEEKLY” appears on the Program screen.

●For weekly recording, the desired date for the day of the week must be entered.

●If you made a mistake, press CANCEL and, after pressing MENU as many times as necessary to access the VCR Plus+ screen, input the correct PlusCode number.

SET TAPE SPEED

5 Press SP/EP.
