LEVEL

This allows you to adjust the volume of the

 

surround speakers (Sub-woofer does not work

 

when 2ch sound is used).

 

SURROUND RIGHT SPEAKER,

 

SURROUND LEFT SPEAKER,

 

SUBWOOFER (Displayed when "SUB WFR" is

 

set to "ON" (

page 40).):

 

This allows you to select a speaker and adjust

 

its volume.

 

TEST TONE:

A test tone is produced when it is set to "ON". The test tone is output from the currently used speakers. The output order is click-wise with the listening point as a center.

Setting it to "OFF" stops the test tone.

RETURN:

It allows you to return to the speaker-setting screen.

DISTANCE If the distance from the listening point to each speaker varies, this allows you to set the distance between the listening point and each speaker. Improved surrounding effect can be obtained by adjusting the sound output timing from the speakers.

FRONT SPEAKER:

This allows you to adjust the distance from the listening point to the front speakers. The initial setting is 3 meters and is adjustable between 0.3 meters to 9 meters.

SURROUND SPEAKER:

This allows you to adjust the distance from the listening point to the surround speakers. The initial setting is 3 meters and is adjustable between 0.3 meters to 9 meters.

RETURN:

It allows you to return to the speaker-setting screen.

*1 While the speaker position is "R" ( page 9, 10), the speaker setting icon is displayed in the initial setting screen, allowing you to set it. It is not displayed at other times.
