AMake connections
Connect two sets of SR-V101US and a TV using AV cables as
shown in the illustration.
The mini-plug cable is a mono 3.5 mm mini-plug to mono 3.5
mm mini-plug connector.
When playing back S-VHS recordings, it is recommended to use
the S-VIDEO connection to minimize picture degradation.
BTurn on all components
After completing the connections, turn on all the components.
Set the TV to video input mode or A/V input mode. Refer to the
TV instruction manual.
CLoad cassettes
Insert the playback cassette into each SR-V101US.
Set SR-V101US-2 to “AUX”. Press CH + or – to select the input
mode depending on the connector being used:
“L-1” for the rear AUDIO/VIDEO IN connector, or
“F-1” for the front AUDIO/VIDEO input connector.
DStart playback
Press PLAY ( 4) on either of SR-V101US. When the playback
reaches to the returning point (tape end or recording end
page19), t he other SR-V101US successively starts to play. (The
cassette will automatically be rewound when the playback
stops.) Therefore, the cassettes loaded on two SR-V101US will
be played back alternately as many times as you want.

To stop playback

Press STOP/EJECT (0) on the SR-V101US which is playing
back a cassette.
NOTE:
If there is a power outage during Series Playback, the playback
will resume automatically when the power is restored to the VCR.
(No setting is required for this function.)
Series Recording
NOTE:
Select the correct input mode (“L-1” for the rear connector, “F-1”
for the front connector). (step

Using two sets (or more) of SR-V101US, a long recording will be
possible (such as camcorder recording, another VCR playback or
TV broadcast).
To prohibit operations during Series Playback (Mode Lock)
Press and hold OK on the Remote for more than 5 seconds.
” and “ ” light up on the front display panel. The 2
cassettes will be played back alternately without any
interruption.
To resume the other operations, press and hold OK on the
Remote again for more than 5 seconds.
When OK is pressed to set Mode Lock, the on-screen display
appears and the time counter remains on the TV screen. If the
time counter is not necessary, set “ON SCREEN (PLAY)” to
“OFF” (pg.18).
Use the buttons and controls on the VCR's front panel for the
Series Recording operations (except when using Mode Lock).
