Set this item correctly when you play back a DVD VIDEO disc recorded with surround multichannel audio.

When connecting to a surround decoder, select [2-CH DOLBY SURROUND].

When connecting to a stereo amplifier/receiver or TV, select [2-CH STEREO].

When connecting the player’s 5.1-channel output, select [MULTI CHANNEL]. Note that you can perform fine tuning for your speakers when [MULTI CHANNEL] is selected (see page 36 and 37).
