OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

Basic Operation

1.Extend the antenna to its full length.

2.Program the Weather Channel for Your Desired Area

a)Turn the radio off with the POWERBasic Operation button on top of the radio.

b)Press the MENU button.

c)Press the UP "Seven channel weather band (MHz)" or DOWN "Setting the Time" button until “WEATHER—CH1” displays on the LCD screen.

d)Press the SELECT button.

e)Press the UP "Manual background" or DOWN "Manual background" button to manually scroll through the weather channels until you hear the strongest weather broadcast.

f)Press the SELECT button to save this channel.

3.Press the WEATHER/HAZARD ON/OFF button to listen to the weather radio. You are now able to receive weather alerts for your area and surrounding areas.

Setting the Time

1.Turn off the radio by pressing POWERManual background button on top of the radio.

2.Press the MENU button.

3.Press the UP "Manual background" or DOWN Manual background" button until “SET UP—TIME” is displayed.

4.Press the SELECT button, hour setting will begin to flash.

5.Press the UP "Manual background" or DOWN "Manual background" buttons to adjust the hour setting. Note: The AM / PM setting cannot be manually changed; it changes automatically as you scroll through the hours.

6.Press the RIGHT >arrow to adjust minutes and save your hour setting.

7.Press the UP "Manual background" or DOWN "Manual background" buttons to adjust the minute setting.

8.Press the SELECT button to store the time setting.

9.Press the MENU button to return to the main menu.
