To fill the kettle, remove it from the multi- directional base and open the lid. Fill with the desired amount of water. Never fill the kettle above the ‘MAX’ mark, which is indicated inside the kettle.Too little water will result in the kettle switching “OFF” before the water has boiled.
Note: Do not fill above the MAX mark as boiling water may splash out from the kettle.The max line is shown on the red indicator inside the kettle.

CAUTION:
•Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface
•Do not operate the kettle without water
•Do not move the kettle while it is switched ‘on’
•Do not remove the lid while water is boiling
•Do not use the kettle to heat or boil any liquid or foodstuff other than water
•Ensure the kettle is switched ‘off’ before it is removed from the base
The kettle may be stored on the multi- directional base when not in use.The power should be switched off at the power outlet and then unplugged when not in use.
This kettle is fitted with a safety device, which protects against overheating should your appliance be operated with insufficient water. If this occurs the kettle will stop heating and automatically switch “OFF”.
