THE AIR CONDITIONER WILL NOT OPERATE

Unitwasturnedoff andthenontooquickly.

Turnunitoff andwait3 minutesbeforerestarting.

TEMPControlsetwarmerthanroomtemperature.

TumTEMPControlclockwiseto a coolersetting(highernumber).

AIR FROM UNIT DOES NOT FEEL COLD ENOUGH.

MODE selector in LOW COOL position.

Turnselectorto HIGHCOOLposition

TEMP Control set too warm (lowernumber).

TurnTEMPControlclockwisetoa coolersetting.

Room temperature below 70°F (21°C).

Coolingmaynotoccuruntilroomtemperaturerisesabove70°F (21°C).

Temperature sensing tube touching cold coil,

Straightentubeawayfrom coil

located behind air filter.

 

THE AIR CONDITIONER COOLING,BUT ROOM IS TOO WARM-ICE FORMING ON COOUNG COIL BEHIND INLET GRILLE.

Outdoor temperaturebelow 70"F (21°C).

To defrostthe coil, set selector to FAN positionThen,. tum TEMP control

Cleanairfilter.Referto Maintenancesectionof owner'smanual. TurnTEMPcontrolclockwiseto a coolersetting(highernumber), Clearblockageinfrontof unit.

Doors, windows, registers, etc. open. Cold air escapes. Unit recently turned on in hot room.

Close doors, windows, registers, etc.

Allowadditionaltimeto removestoredheatfromwails,ceiling,floor,andfurniture.

THE AIR CONDITIONER TURNS ON AND OFF RAPIDLY.
