DOOR ALARM

When either the refrigerator or freezer door is left open for more than 1 minute, an alarm will sound to let you know the door is open. The alarm will repeat every 30 seconds until all doors are completely closed. The door alarm function can be deactivated by pressing the Door Alarm button.

CONTROL LOCK

This model is equipped with a control lock function that disables the temperature controls and dispenser pad. To activate the Control Lock, press and hold the Door Alarm button for 3 seconds until the Control Lock indicator turns on. Repeat this procedure to disable the Control Lock.

NOTE: When the Control Lock is enabled, the dispenser pad and all other buttons are disabled.

DISPENSER LIGHT

Type 1 Type 2

These models are equipped with a light that illuminates the dispenser area whenever the dispenser pad is engaged.

Type 1

This model is equipped with a Mood Lamp that illuminates

the dispenser area. m

The Mood Lamp can be turned on by pressing the button.

When the Dispenser Light is enabled, an indicator located above the Dispenser Light button will illuminate.

Type 2

This model is equipped with a Mood lamp that illuminates the dispenser area. The Mood lamp can be turned on,

off or set in Auto function by pressing the button.

When Auto function is set, brightness of the room will be detected by the Light Sensor to turn on when dark and off when bright.

ADJUSTING CONTROL SETTINGS

Give the refrigerator time to cool down completely before making final adjustments. It is best to wait 24 hours before doing this. The initial settings mentioned in CONTROL PANEL FEATURES section should be correct for normal household refrigerator use.

The refrigerator control functions as the thermostat for the entire appliance (refrigerator and freezer sections). The colder the setting, the longer the compressor will run to keep the temperature colder. The freezer control adjusts the cold air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator. Setting the freezer control to a lower temperature keeps more cold air in the freezer compartment to make it colder.

If you need to adjust temperatures in the refrigerator or freezer, start by adjusting the refrigerator and allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. If it is too warm or too cold, then adjust the freezer control.

Use the settings listed in the chart below as a guide. Always remember to wait at least 24 hours between adjustments.
