Speaker level setting using Test Tone
Operation procedure
1.Perform steps 1 and 3 of “Speaker Setting Custom”. k
2.Press the cursor button to select the “Test” button.
÷The Test Tone will be output from each speaker for a specified period of time, in the sequence beginning with the L CH speaker and ending with the Surround R CH speaker.
÷The speaker from which the Test Tone is being output is indicated by the cursor on the screen.
3.When the cursor moves to the speaker to be set, press the ENTER button.
4.Press the cursor left, right button to select the level to be set, and press the ENTER button.
÷Adjust so that the volume from all speakers is identical.
5.Press the cursor button to select “Exit”, then press the ENTER button.

¶For the "Speaker Setting" when an AV amplifier is connected digitally to the player, refer to the instruction manual of the AV amplifier.
¶Three kinds of speakers can be set, including the "Center Speaker (C)", "Surround Speakers (SL/ SR)" and "SubWoofer (SW)".
Operation procedure
1.While the player is in stop mode, press the SET UP button and press the cursor up, down button to display the "SOUND" menu of "SET UP MENU".
2.Press the ENTER button to open the setup screen.
3.Press the cursor cursor up, down button to select “Speaker Setting (Quick)” in set up menu “SOUND”, then press the ENTER button.

4.Place the cursor on the speaker name you want to set to "Use" or "Do not use", then press the ENTER button.
5.Each press of the ENTER button turns on and off the corresponding speaker icon in the graphic room at the lower half of screen alternately. When the selected kind of speaker is to be used, the corresponding speaker icon should be displayed.
6.To set the use of other kinds of speakers, repeat step 4 for each of them.
7.After completing the setting, place the cursor on "Exit" and press the ENTER button.
