Changing volume lock
The remote control is set to control volume of a component through your TV while in the TV, VCR, or Cable mode. However, in an Audio mode (i.e. CD), you have separate control of your audio component’s volume. To change Volume Lock to the another mode:
1Press and hold the SET UP key until the LED blinks twice, then release the SET UP key.
2Press the numeric key to enter “9 - 9 - 3”, then press any mode key once (except TV).
• The LED will blink twice.
3At this point, whenever you press the VOLUME +/– keys, or the MUTE key, volume will be controlled by your mode choice.
4To unlock, press the SET UP key until the LED blinks twice, and press the numeric key to enter

• The LED will blink 4 times upon being unlock.
To change Volume Lock back to the TV mode:
1Press and hold the SET UP key until the LED blinks twice, then release the SET UP key.
2Press the numeric key to enter “9 - 9 - 3”, then press the TV key.
• The LED will blink twice.
3At this point, whenever you press the VOLUME +/– keys, or MUTE key, volume will be controlled by your TV.
4To unlock, press the TV key, then the SET UP key until the LED blinks twice, and press the numeric key to enter
• The LED will blink 4 times upon being unlock.
