The KitchenAid™ PRO LINE™ Series Waffle Baker brings professional performance home. The clamshell baking unit flips to allow the batter to coat both upper and lower waffle plates, producing golden waffles with splendid uniformity. In less than 5 minutes, you’ll open up the Baker and remove two 71⁄2-inch diameter by 11⁄4-inch thick Grand Belgian waffles.

Most waffles made at home are meager imitations of the ones you’ll find at fine restaurants and breakfast buffets. This has little to do with special recipes, and everything to do with the design of commercial waffle irons.
