UNDER THE CABINET INSTALLATION – TOP VENT

Preparation before Installation

NOTE: TO AVOID DAMAGE TO YOUR HOOD, PREVENT DEBRIS FROM ENTERING THE VENT OPENING.

-Decide the location of the venting pipe from the hood to the outside. Refer to Figure 1.

-A straight, short venting run will allow the hood to perform more efficiently.

-Try to avoid as many transitions, elbows, and long run as possible. This may reduce the performance of the hood.

-Temporarily wire the hood to test for proper operation before installing.

-Peel protective film off the hood (if any).

-For installing under the cabinet with recessed bottom, attach 4-inch wide wood filler strips (not included) on each side. Refer to Figure 2.

-Measure and create access opening for electrical wires under the cabinet.

-Cut the multi duct exhaust according to the size of the venting pipe. Refer to Figure 3.

The CH2230SQ and CH2236SQ are designed to complement various kitchen styles with their sleek stainless steel finishes and modern square design. These range hoods offer an elegant aesthetic without compromising functionality. The hoods come in two sizes, allowing homeowners to select the perfect fit for their cooking spaces.

One of the main features of these range hoods is their powerful ventilation performance. Both models are equipped with a high-performance 3-speed blower that can achieve an impressive airflow of up to 600 CFM. This ensures that cooking odors, smoke, and grease are efficiently removed from the kitchen, maintaining a clean and pleasant cooking environment.

In terms of technology, the CH2230SQ and CH2236SQ boast a quiet operation. With noise levels as low as 40 decibels at low speeds, these hoods maintain a tranquil kitchen atmosphere, allowing conversations to flow undisturbed while cooking. This is especially beneficial for open-concept homes where the kitchen is integrated into living spaces.

The models are also designed with user-friendliness in mind. They feature easy-to-use push-button controls that simplify operation, allowing users to adjust the fan speed and lighting with ease. Additionally, the hoods come equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting. This not only enhances visibility during cooking but also consumes less energy compared to traditional bulbs, making it an eco-friendly choice.

Another notable characteristic is the baffle filter design. The stainless steel baffle filters are not only durable but also effectively trap grease and other particles. They are dishwasher-safe, making maintenance a breeze, as users can conveniently clean them without hassle.

In summary, the Kobe Range Hoods CH2230SQ and CH2236SQ models offer a combination of powerful ventilation, quiet operation, user-friendly controls, energy-efficient lighting, and easy maintenance. These hoods are perfect for anyone looking to elevate their kitchen experience while ensuring a healthy and comfortable cooking atmosphere.
