ADJUSTING THE LCD BRIGHTNESS

The Dimâge V is equipped with a quick-respondingLCD monitor that has an excellent range of viewing angles. The LCD monitor brightness can be adjusted to compensate for varying lighting conditions and viewing angles.

Press the main switch to turn the camera on.

While pressing the display button, press the + or – buttons to change the monitor brightness.

• Press the + button for a brighter screen and the – button for a darker screen.

•While adjusting the brightness, a bar will appear to indicate the current level.

Release the display button and +/– button when the desired brightness level is reached.

.The LCD brightness can be changed in both play and record modes. In play mode, the image display will change when the display button is pressed. However, continue to hold the display button down and adjust the brightness as instructed.

SETTING DATE/TIME

To set the current date or time follow, the procedure below.

•To change the date/time display format only, follow steps 1, 2, 3 and 10.

Press the main switch to turn the camera on.

Open the back cover, then press the date button.

• The Date/Time menu will appear.

Press the protect button

( ) to select the date/time format.

• The formats will appear in the following sequence:

YY MM DD

↓

MM DD YY

↓

DD MM YY

↓

AM/PM (12 hour clock)

↓

Military (24 hour clock)
