Warranty
ThisKrell producthasa limited warrantyof five yearsfor partsandlaboroncircuitry. Shouldthis productfail to per- format anytimeduringthe warranty,Krell will repairit at nocostto the owner,exceptasset forth in this warranty.
Thewarrantydoesnot apply to damagecausedby acts of Godor nature.
Thewarrantyonthis pageshall bein lieu of anyother warranty,expressedor implied,including,but not limited to, anyimpliedwarrantyof merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purposeThere.are nowarrantieswhichexceed beyondthosedescribedin this documentIf. this product doesnot performas warrantedherein, the owner'ssole remedyshall berepair. In noeventwill Krell beliable for incidental or consequentialdamagesarising from pur- chase,use,or inability to usethis product,evenif Krell hasbeenadvisedof the possibility of suchdamages.
Proofof purchasein the formof a bill of saleor receipted invoicesubstantiatingthat the unit is within the warranty periodmustbepresentedto obtainwarrantyservice. The warrantybeginsonthe dateof retail purchase,as noted onthe bill of saleor receiptedinvoicefromanauthorized Krell dealeror distributor.
Thewarrantyfor Krell productsis valid onlyin the country to whichtheywereoriginally shipped,throughthe author- izedKrell distributor for that country,andat the factory. Theremayberestrictions onor changesto Krell's warran- ty becauseof regulationswithin a specificcountry.Please checkwith yourdistributor for a completeunderstandingof the warrantyin yourcountry.
If a unit is servicedbya distributorwhodid notimportthe unit, theremaybea chargefor service,evenif the product is withinthe warrantyperiod.
Freightto thefactoryis yourresponsibility.Returnfreight
withinthe UnitedStates(U.S.A.)is includedin the warran- ty. If youpurchasedyourKrell productoutsidethe U.S.A. andwishto haveit servicedat the factory,all freight and associatedchargesto the factoryare yourresponsibility.
Krell will payreturnfreightto
Krell is not responsiblefor anydamageincurredin transit. Krell will file claimsfor damagesas necessaryfor units damagedintransit to thefactory.Youareresponsiblefor fil- ing claimsfor shippingdamagesduringthe return ship- ment.
Krell doesnot supplyreplacementpartsand/orproductsto the ownerof the unit. Replacementparts and/orproducts will befurnishedonlyto the distributorperformingservice onthis unit onanexchangebasisonly; anyparts and/or productsreturnedto Krell for exchangebecomethe prop- ertyof Krell.
Noexpressedor implied warrantyis madefor anyKrell productdamagedby accident, abuse,misuse,natural or personaldisaster,or unauthorizedmodification.
Anyunauthorizedvoltage conversion,disassembly, componentreplacement,perforation of chassis, updates,or modificationsperformedto the unit will voidthe warranty.
Theoperatingvoltageof this unit is determinedbythe f~c- tory andcanonly bechangedbyanauthorizedKrell dis- tributoror at thefactory.Thevoltagefor this productin the U.S.Acannot.bechangeduntil six monthsfromthe origina~ purchasedate.
In theeventthat Krell receivesa productfor warrantyserv- ice that hasbeenmodifiedin anywaywithoutKrell author- ization,all warrantiesonthatproductwill bevoid.Theprod- uctwill bereturnedto originalfactorylayoutspecifications at the owner'sexpensebeforeit is repaired.All repairs requiredafter the producthasbeenreturnedto originalfac- tory specificationswill bechargedto the customer,at cur- rentpartsandlaborrates.
All operationalfeatures,functions,andspecificationsand policiesaresubjectto changewithoutnotification.
