6.1. Before You Contact Technical Support

Please read the User Manual and review the Troubleshooting section to resolve an issue with your LaCie device. If the problem persists, see

6.2.LaCie Customer Support Contacts for the technical support in your country or region. Before contacting us, make sure that you are in front of your computer and that you have the following information on hand:

	Macintosh/PC model	Mac users: Click on the Apple icon in the menu bar and select About
	Operating system version	This Mac.
	Operating system version	Windows XP users: Right-click My Computer and select Properties >

	Processor speed	Windows Vista and Windows 7 users: Right-click Computer and

		Mac users: Click on the Apple icon in the finder bar and select About
		this Mac. Select More Info... The Apple System Profiler will launch
		and will list your internal and external peripherals.
