Causa

Al observar no se alcanza una imagen circular.

Fallo

a)Los prismáticos no están adap- tados suficientemente a la distancia entre los ojos de la persona.

b)La pupila del observador no queda en la pupila de salida de los prismáticos.

c)La posición de los (manguitos) oculares corredizos (del ocular) no corresponde al uso correcto con o sin gafas.

Solución

a)Corregir sencillamente la distancia entre los dos tubos de los prismáticos abriendo o cerrando el eje articulado.

b)Corregir la posición de la ca- beza, de los ojos o de los pris- máticos.

c)Corregir la adaptación: metiendo los (manguitos del ocular) oculares extensibles si se mira con gafas y sacándolos si se mira sin gafas.

Humedad en la ventana de la escala.

Al limpiar los prismáticos con agua corriente, las dos mitades del botón del mando central no estaban acopladas correcta- mente.

Desacoplar las dos mitades del botón y dejar secar la humedad. No hay peligro de estropear los prismáticos.
