INTRODUCTION
This Electric Fireplace is designed for residential applications to be framed in used free- standing.
This appliance has been tested in accordance with UL 2021 and CSA C22.2 No.
Installation must conform to local codes. In the absence of local codes, electrical wiring and grounding must comply with the National Electrical Code ANSI/ NFPA 70 - latest edition. In Canada, the current CSA
IMPORTANT: Before starting your fireplace in- stallation, read this installation and operation manual very carefully to ensure you understand it completely and in entirety. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a possible electric shock, fire hazard and/or injury or property damage and will void the warranty.
IMPORTANT: THESE FIREPLACES ARE DESIGNED AS SUPPLEMENTAL HEATERS. THEREFORE, IT IS ADVISABLE TO HAVE AN ALTERNATE HEAT SOURCE WHEN INSTALLED IN A DWELLING.
TO PREVENT A POSSIBLE FIRE, DO NOT BLOCK AIR INTAKES OR EXHAUSTS IN ANY WAY. DO NOT USE NEAR SOFT SURFACES, LIKE A PILLOW, WHERE OPENINGS MAY BECOME BLOCKED.
THIS APPLIANCE MAY BECOME HOT WHEN IN USE. TO AVOID BURNS, DO NOT LET BARE SKIN TOUCH HOT SURFACES. KEEP COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, SUCH AS FUR- NITURE, PILLOWS, BEDDING, PAPERS, CLOTHES AND CURTAINS AT LEAST 3 FEET (1 METER) FROM THE FRONT OF THIS AP- PLIANCE.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THIS FIREPLACE BE MODIFIED. PARTS HAVING TO BE REMOVED FOR SERVICING MUST BE REPLACED PRIOR TO OPERATING THE FIREPLACE AGAIN.
