Theheatsinkandmicroprocessormightbeveryhot.Turnoffthecomputerandwait
threetoveminutestoletthecomputercoolbeforeremovingthecomputercover.
Toreplacethemicroprocessor,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.Then,disconnect
allpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatar econnectedtothecomputer.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage14.
3.Removetheheatsinkandfanassembly.See“Replacingtheheatsinkandfanassembly”onpage22.
