POST error codes

The following table provides an abbreviated list of the error codes that might appear during POST. See the Hardware Maintenance Manual for more information about the POST error codes. To check for updated technical information, complete the following steps.

Note: Changes are made periodically to the Lenovo Web site. The actual procedure might vary slightly from what is described in this document.

1.Go to: http://www.lenovo.com/support.

2.Enter your product number (machine type and model number) or select Servers and Storage from the Select your product list.

3.Select Servers and Storage from the Brand list.

4.From Family list, select ThinkServer RS110, and click Continue.

5.Click User's guides and manuals for documentation.

vFollow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem is solved.

vSee the parts listing in the Hardware Maintenance Manual to determine which components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units (FRU).

vIf an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by a trained service technician.
