The Set Supervisor/User /HDD Password items set passwords for different levels of access to the notebook. The notebook is shipped with the password disabled.
1.Supervisor Password: This field allows you to set the Supervisor password. A password is required to access the BIOS setup menus if the password has been set.
To set the Supervisor password, highlight this field and press t he <Enter> key. The following dialog box appears:
Type the password and press the <Enter> key. You can type up to eight alphanumeric characters. Symbols and other keys are ignored. To confirm the password, type the password again and press the <Enter> key. The Supervisor Password is now set up. This password
