Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtouserecoverymedia.
•Youcanuserecoverymediatorestorethecomputertothefactorydefaultsettingsonly.Youcanuse
recoverymediatoputthecomput erinanoperationalstateafterallothermethodsofrecoveryhavefailed.
Attention:Whenyouuserecoverymediator estorethecomputertothefactorydefaultsettings,allthe
filescurrentlyontheharddiskdriveorhybriddrivewillbedeletedandreplacedbythefactorydefault
settings.
•Touserecoverymedia,dothefollowing:
1.Dependingonthetypeofyourrecoverymedia,connectthebootmedium(memorykeyorotherUSB
storagedevice)tothecomputer,orinsertthebootdiscintoanexternalopticaldrive.
2.Repeat edlypressandreleasetheF12keywhenturningonthecomputer.WhentheBootMenu
windowopens,releasetheF12key.
3.SelectthedesiredstartupdeviceandpressEnter.Therestoreprocessbegins.
4.F ollowtheinstructionsonthescreentocompletetheoper ation.
