Inserting an ExpressCard device

Chapter 3. Using external devices

Inserting an ExpressCard device

Gently slide the ExpressCard device with the front label facing upward. Slide until it clicks into place.

Removing an ExpressCard device

1 Push the ExpressCard device until you hear a click.

2 Gently pull the ExpressCard device out of the ExpressCard slot.

Note:

Before removing the ExpressCard device, stop it from working by Windows Safely Remove Hardware utility, otherwise it may corrupt your data or even damage the device.
