¾Temporary or permanent profile from LDD Server utility
(Note: Temporary profiles are deleted after use)

System Administration
System Configuration
System configuration is performed using the Web pages for the MFP controller. The Web pages can be accessed at the MFP using the touch screen and virtual keyboard, or remotely from the administrator’s PC. Access to the configuration screens can be password protected. It is recommended that once the device has an IP address, the remaining configuration be done from a Web browser by pointing to the IP address of the device. From the System Configuration screen, the Administrator can set the following defaults.
•General Setup
•Import and Export Destination Files: Copy all MFP settings from one MFP to another
•Copy Defaults
•Fax and Server Setup
•Scan to Network General Setup – set SMTP gateway, reply address, subject, message, etc.
•Scan to
•Function Access
•Configuration for Kerberos authentication and LDAP server parameters
•Windows Active Directory support and secure directory browsing
•Manage Destinations – set up shortcuts for
•Printer and Print Server
•Authentication Setup and Configurations – set up internal authentication or configure for LDAP authentication.
•Create Scan Profiles – utility to create permanent scan profiles
Windows NT and Windows 2000 Domain Setup
Registering the MFP with the Microsoft NT/Windows 2000 domain can not be done remotely through the Web pages. It must be done at the MFP and requires administrator’s privileges on the domain to be registered. The following information is needed for Windows NT/Windows 2000 domain registration and are entered through the MFP touch screen and virtual keyboard:

yAdministrator User ID and Password
Calibrate Touch Screen
This is used to recalibrate the touch screen if required.
