Adjusting Power Saver

1Make sure the printer is on and Ready appears.
2From the printer control panel, press .
3Press the arrow button s until Settings appears, and then press .
4Press the arrow button s until General Settings appears, and then press .
5Press the arrow button s until Timeouts appears, and then press .
6Press the arrow button s until Power Saver appears, and then press .
7Press the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the number of minutes before the printer enters Power Saver
mode, and then press . Available settings are Disabled and a range from 1 –240 minutes.
Note: Power Saver settings can also be adjusted by issuing a Printer Job Languag e (PJL) command. Fo r more
information, see the Technical R eference avai lable on the Lexmark Web site at www.lexmark.com/publ ications.

Restoring the factory default settings

1From the printer control panel, press .
2Press the arrow button s until Settings appears, and then press .
3Press the arrow button s until General Settings appears, and then press .
4Press the arrow button s until Factory Defaults appears, and then press .
5Press the arrow button s until Restore Now appears, and then press .
Wait for Submitting Changes to appear momentarily, followed by Re storing Factory Defaults,
before the printer retu rns to Ready.
Warning—Potential Damage: Restore Now returns all printer settings to the factory default settings except
Network/Port menu settings. All d ownloads stored in RAM are deleted. Downloads stored in flash memory are
not affected.
