1Open the document cover.

2Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth or cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol (95%).

3Wipe the scanner glass and backing material by moving the cloth or swab from side to side.

4Open the scan unit access door.

5Wipe the scanner glass and backing material by moving the cloth or swab from side to side.

6Close the scan unit access door.

7Close the document cover.
