Opening Camera and Taking Pictures

You take pictures and record videos using the Camera application. You can also view your pictures with the Gallery application.

IMPORTANT Be sure to clean the protective lens cover with a microfiber cloth before taking pictures. A lens cover with smudges from fingers can cause blurry pictures with a “halo” effect.

To open the Camera application

▶ Touch the Camera icon	on the Home screen or in the Launch
screen.

Camera opens in Landscape mode, ready to take a picture or record a video.

Drag to switch between Camera and Video modes.

Touch to take a picture or to begin recording a video.

Touch to access your pictures gallery.

Touch the screen to change settings.
