Placing and Ending Calls

You can place calls using the Phone application. You can dial calls manually using the Phone tab. You can dial using your phone’s memory, using the Call log tab (see “Working with the Call Log” on page 76); the Contacts tab (see “Communicating with Your Contacts” on page 92); or the Favorites tab (see “Communicating with Your Contacts” on page 92).

To open the Phone application

▶From the Home screen, or the Launch screen, touch the Phone icon

OR

▶Press the Send Key , then touch the Phone tab.

To place a call by dialing

1 Open the Phone application, Phone tab.

Touch and hold to enter +, for international calls.

Touch to erase a digit.

Touch and hold to erase the entire number.
