Editing text

You can edit the text you enter in text fields and use menu commands to cut, copy, and paste text, within or across applications. Some applications don’t support editing some or all of the text they display; others may offer their own way to select text you want to work with.

To edit text

1.Touch and hold the text field that contains the text you want to edit.

2.A context menu with editing options is displayed. Choose an option to edit the text.

3.Once you are finished editing the text, press the Back Key to close the keyboard.

To select text

You can select text to cut or copy. Selected text is highlighted in orange.

1.Touch and hold the text field or other portion of the screen that contains the text to select.

2.In the context menu that opens, touch Select text.

3.Select text by touching and dragging across the text you want to select.

4.Touch and hold the text field again and touch Cut or Copy.
