Installing the SIM card and battery

Before you can start exploring your new phone, you’ll need to set it up. To insert the SIM card and battery:

1Hold the phone with both hands and use the fingernail cutout at the top of the phone to pull open the battery cover (as shown below).

2Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot. Make sure the gold contact area on the card is facing downwards.

3Align the battery contacts with the terminals near the bottom of the phone, then press the battery into place.
