Green-and-yellow: Earth

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR UK USE: The wires in this mains lead use the following colour code:

Green-and-yellow: Earth

Blue:Neutral

Brown:Live

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E, or by the earth symbol or coloured green or green-and-yellow.

The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

POSITIONING

You can put your WAKONDA more or less anywhere you find convenient, but there are a few considerations which may affect your choice. Turntables have short signal leads, so the WAKONDA will need to be close to your turntable. However, if they are too close together the cartridge may pick up hum from the amplifier, especially if it is a moving coil cartridge. 30cms between the amplifier and the cartridge is usually enough to avoid such problems. Some cassette decks may also pick up hum if they are too close to the WAKONDA.
