RECORD

Start playing the keyboard. Recording starts as soon as you play the first note (as does playback of the previously recorded track).

NOTE: When Record Wait Mode is active, you can also start recording by pressing the Play button. In that case, the Song Recorder will record silence until you start playing the keyboard.

When you are finished playing, press the

Record button again to stop recording.

Note: If you have already recorded a performance on Track 1, and would like to record an independent performance on Track 2 (without hearing Track 1 as you record), you can make sure the Track 1 button is not lit (pressing it if necessary), before beginning to record on Track 2. When used this way, the song recorder allows you to record and play back two “single track songs” instead of one “two track song.”
