Place th e TV on a so lid surfac e.
For vent ilation, le ave at least 4” to 6” free all around t he TV. Do
not place the TV on a carpet. To prevent any un safe
situati ons, no nake d flame source s, such as lighted can dles,
should b e placed in t he vicinit y. Avoid heat, direct sunl ight and
exposure to rain or water. The equ ipment shal l not be exp osed
to drip ping or spla shing.
Mounting the TV on t he wall
This TV set complie s with the VESA stand ard for wall mounting.

Basic co nnections to the TV
Your integr ated digit al TV auto matically d ecodes and
displays the four ba sic DTV pic ture resolut ion standa rds.
- SDTV (Standard Definition T V) are bro adcast as 4 80i
(480 -line inte rlaced) or 4 80p (480 -line progr essive scan)
video.
- HDTV ( High-Defi nition TV ) are broadc ast either in the
1080i or 720p for mats, alw ays with a w idescreen pi cture.
Note: Pr ogressive s can video (p ) is more li ke what you s ee in a
movie theater. Image s are much m ore distin ct, free of flicker
and mo tion is smoo ther.
Your TV ha s an integr ated HDTV t uner, which rec eives and
decodes terrestria l ATSC and unsc rambled ca ble (QAM)
signals and displays them. Ther e are two way s to obtai n
HDTV con tent:
- throug h a cable pro vider
- throug h an antenn a.
