CLOSE CAPTIONING DISPLAY IN DIGITAL MODE
Closed Captioning (CC) lets you read the voice content of TV programs on the TV screen. Designed to help the hearing impaired, this feature uses onscreen “text boxes” to show dialogue and conversations while the TV program is in progress. I n digital mode, you can assign display options to your closed captioning options.

Press MENU button on the remote control to display the onscreen menu.
Press CURSOR < or > until you see DTV Setup highlighted.
Press CURSOR > to display the DTV Setup options.
Press CURSOR < or > until you see Close Caption highlighted. Press CURSOR > to enter Display menu options.
Press CURSOR > to toggle to the options that you want – Off Always on or On
when muted
When finished, press MENU button on the remote control to exit the menu from the TV screen

CAPTION OPTION IN DIGITAL MODE
Caption Option in Digital Mode lets you select the default option or options that you have assigned to your Close captioning service.

Press MENU button on the remote control to display the onscreen menu.
Press CURSOR < or > until you see DTV Setup highlighted.
Press CURSOR > to display the DTV Setup
options
Press CURSOR < or > until you see Close Caption highlighted. Press CURSOR > to enter Caption Option menu options.
Press CURSOR > to toggle to the options that you want – Use Default or Use
Options.
When Use Options is choosen, you will
be prompted to select text size color, opacity, edge color, type and CC background color.
