40 Wake Up Timer

The Wake Up Timer turns on the TV/VCR automatically at
a specified time within the next 24 hours. You may set the			4
TV/VCR to turn on at a TV channel or with VCR playback.
To set the Wake Up Timer, follow the steps below.
Before you begin:
● Set the clock. Details are on pages 12-15.If the clock is not	1-3
set, you will not be able to set the Wake Up Timer.
● Put a tape in the TV/VCR if you want the TV/VCR to start		POWER	SLEEP/WAKE UP
tape playback at the specified time.

1 Press SLEEP/WAKE UP until WAKE UP TIMER appears. Press F.FWD/B or REW/s until [ON] appears.

	Press PLAY/▲ or STOP/▼ to select TV/TAPE.
	Press F.FWD/B or REW/s to select [TV] or
	[TAPE]. If you select TV, the current TV channel

will be on when the TV/VCR turns on. Select TAPE to start tape playback when the TV/VCR turns on.

3 Press PLAY/▲ or STOP/▼ to select TIME. Press F.FWD/B or REW/s to select your desired wake up time.

Each button press will increase (or decrease) the time by 10 minutes.

Press MENU to remove the menu, then press
POWER to turn off the TV/VCR. The TV/VCR
4 will turn on at the specified time.
	Helpful Hint
	• To cancel the Wake Up Timer,
	press SLEEP/WAKE UP until
	WAKE UP TIMER appears, then
	press F.FWD/B or REW/s until
	[OFF] appears.
