CHAPTER 7 OPERATIONS

-Delete All Programs : Deletes the stored channel data only ,other setting are not deleted.

-Reset To Default : Delete all the current data stored, and reset to factory setting.

TV Setting

In Config menu , you can select the TV Setting options.

Press left or right navigation button to switch the picture display scalin g between 4:3 and 16:9 mode.

The picture is incised, not full.

Those buttons are according to those on the remote control.

Set Time

In Config menu , you can select Set Time to set your SET TOP BOX time. This function is used for EPG and some timer settings. If your broadcast station provides GMT, you can set

the time with GMT or set personal time.

-If the GMT usage is set to On and Current time is automatically set ,you can set the time zone only.

-If you set GMT Usage to OFF, then the calendar window will appear on screen.

6. REMOTE CONTROL PREPARATION

6-1 BATTERY INSTALLATION

Install the battery as shown in the picture below(fig1). Be sure negative and positive terminals are positioned as indicated in the battery compartment.

6-2 SERVICE LIFE OF BATTERIES

-The batteries normally last for about one year although this depends on how often, and for how often the remote control is used.

-If the remote control fails to work even when it is operated near the player, replace the batteries.

-Use one size CR2025 battery.

Note:

Do not drop, step on or otherwise impact the remote control. This may damage the parts or lead to malfunction.

If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery.

6-3 REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

-You can select a date from calendar.

System Upgrade

You can set System Update via an other SET TOP BOX.

Point the remote control from no more than about 6 m from the remote control sensor and within about 60o of the front of the player(Fig2).

NOTE:

-The operating distance may vary according to the brightness of the room.

-Do not point bright lights at the remote control sensor.

-Do not place objects between the remote control and the remote control sensor.

-Do not use this remote control while simultaneously operating the remote control of any other equipment.
